Charles Missenharter Jr.'s personal instrument.
This cornet is brass and silver plated with engraving and has many shanks and mouthpieces, but no original case.
Charles Jr. had two of these instruments, # 8501 and has a little less engraving. Family history says that he had both the 7874 cornet and the 8501.
